What is special about Symfony 2?

For the last two years the Symfony community has grown considerably. This framework has won many supporters all over the world. February was marked by a great social event in its history - the Symfony community gathered at the 2nd Symfony Live conference that was held in Paris on February 16-17, 2010.

Developers from more than 30 countries took part in it. Many interesting and innovative issues were raised during the event, the appearance of the Symfony 2 framework being the most remarkable.

What is special about Symfony 2? First of all, the Logger and Cache system were replaced by the equivalents from the Zend Framework. Symfony 2 (as well as Symfony 1) is used for rapid website development and has become very popular. Symfony 2.0 needs no configuration and it is really fast.

The low level architecture of Symfony 2 is the biggest innovation as well as flexibility and speed as the result of the Symfony Dependency Injection Container component, which was largely spoken about at the conference.
